Epoxy flooring in Auckland
Hard-wearing epoxy and flake floors for the concrete spaces around your home. Every floor is moisture-tested and diamond-ground first, so the coating bonds into the concrete instead of sitting on top of it.
Where epoxy floors work
Epoxy suits any concrete floor that takes a beating or needs to stay easy to clean. Most of our work is garages, but the same systems go into these spaces too.
- Garages: flake is our most popular finish. See flake garage floors
- Workshops and sheds: resists oil, fuel and dropped tools
- Home gyms: a tough, seamless base under mats and racks
- Laundries and basements: wipe-clean, no grout lines to stain
- Patios and outdoor areas: UV-stable topcoat with anti-slip texture

Why preparation decides everything
Auckland slabs are often damp, dusty or covered in old paint. Epoxy rolled straight onto that will lift. We test the slab for moisture before quoting, then grind the whole floor with dust extraction, fill cracks and chips, and only then start coating.
If a slab is too wet to coat safely, we'll tell you and quote a moisture barrier, or suggest another option.
Areas we cover
All of Auckland: North Shore, East Auckland, Central, West Auckland and South Auckland, from Orewa to Pukekohe.
Epoxy flooring FAQ
Is epoxy flooring slippery?
Smooth gloss epoxy can be slippery when wet. A flake broadcast, or an anti-slip additive in the topcoat, gives a textured surface with much better grip. Outdoor and wet areas always get texture.
Can you put epoxy over tiles?
Sometimes. If the tiles are well bonded and the grout lines are sound, the glaze can be ground back and coated. Loose or drummy tiles have to come up first. We check on site before quoting.
How soon can I use the floor?
With our polyaspartic topcoat you can walk on it the same evening and drive on it after about 24 hours. Full-epoxy systems take several days before vehicles.
Do you do commercial epoxy flooring?
We focus on homes: garages, sheds, workshops, gyms and laundries. Small commercial spaces like a showroom or café back-of-house are fine to ask about.
